Business Development Representative

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated business development representative who loves to cold call and is energized by developing new qualified sales opportunities for the company.


Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
  • Anticipate needs by conducting market research to identify new leads
  • Support VP of Sales on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
  • Utilize Hubspot, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products / sales
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and VP of Sales
  • Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-ups
  • Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day
  • Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
  • Have experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo or other similar prospecting applications
  • Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in a competitive industry
  • Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotas
